Where are they now? Checking in with the permanent diaconate class of 2021

The Diocese of Owensboro’s permanent diaconate class of 2021, and most recently-ordained class, was ordained on Sept. 11, 2021. Below, we check in on how they are doing.
Dcn. Tony Carmona serves St. Michael the Archangel, Oak Grove. Dcn. Tony teaches adult faith formation, assists the diocese’s Office of Marriage and Family Life, and teaches RCIA at Fort Campbell, Ky., Catholic Community.
Dcn. Hal Jones serves St. Jude, Clinton; St. Edward, Fulton; and Sacred Heart, Hickman.
Dcn. John Knight serves Holy Name of Jesus, Henderson. Dcn. John is pursuing his master’s degree in theology from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology.
Dcn. Gayle Rhodes serves St. Mary of the Woods, Whitesville.
Dcn. TJ Dennison serves St. Augustine, Grayson Springs; St. Anthony, Peonia; and St. Benedict, Clarkston. He also visits the sick and homebound, offers adult faith formation classes, and coordinates the parish RCIA program.
Dcn. Bill Clark serves St. John the Evangelist, Paducah. Dcn. Bill is involved as a chaplain at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital and works in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul food pantry every month.
Dcn. Frank Bosh moved to another diocese due to a job opportunity. Today he serves St. Jude, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
