Hancock County March for Life sees more than 100 participants

BY NEENA GAYNOR, SPECIAL TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY CATHOLIC

Hancock County Coalition for Life hosted our third annual Hancock County March for Life on March 23, 2024. More than 100 people joined us for this event held at Hancock County High School. The coalition is an ecumenical group that represents 10 churches in the county, and meets monthly at Immaculate Conception Parish in Hawesville. We are a Christ-centered community respecting and defending the sanctity of life from its conception to natural end, striving to convert hearts one at a time. We provide an annual scholarship to graduating seniors and diaper bags full of necessities for mom and baby for mothers in crisis. Typically, this event is held in January, on or near the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, but due to inclement weather this year we had to postpone it. For more information, contact Neena Gaynor, president, at (270) 927-8419.
