Friends, family, and fellow religious gather for sister’s 75th jubilee

The date of Carmelite Sister M. Bernadette ’s 75th Jubilee of Religious Profession was on July 2, but the celebration needed to be moved to Sept. 9, 2023, due to availability of friends, family and fellow sisters. That day, the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus South Central Province, family, and friends gathered at the Carmel Home chapel to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving to the Most Holy Trinity.
The principal celebrant was Bishop William F. Medley; Fr. Mike Clark and Fr. Patrick Cooney, OSB, concelebrated; and Deacon Richard Beaven assisted.
