Annual Walk for Life sees more than 100 participants

On Sept. 7, 2024, Right to Life of Owensboro held its annual Walk for Life down Frederica Street in Owensboro. Stacey Davis, the organization’s executive director, said they saw approximately 110 attendees, who carried pro-life signs in support of the right to life from conception until natural death.

The mission statement of Right to Life of Owensboro is “to educate the public on the dignity of each human life, regardless of his or her circumstances, and to foster respect for human life from conception to natural death.” It was founded in 1973 by Virginia Corley and is a non-profit, non-denominational, and non-political organization.
