Tribunal staff participate in Provincial Meeting
The Diocese of Owensboro Tribunal staff, along with more than 25 other Tribunal personnel across the dioceses of Kentucky and Tennessee, attended the annual Provincial Meeting on July 25 and 26, 2023, at Paris Landing State Resort Park in Buchanan, Tenn. The presenter was the Very Rev. Alexander Laschuk, JCD, PhD, a priest of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, who has vast experience in matrimonial law, penal law, and contentious trials across North America. The topic was recent matrimonial jurisprudence from the Tribunal of the Roman Rota.
The Diocese of Owensboro Tribunal renders decisions in matters of Canon (Church) law dealing primarily with issues related to the validity of marriages.
